Born in Halifax and raised in a Canadian Armed Forces family, Bryan started playing hockey in Germany and quickly developed a reputation for his tough, disciplined style of play. Drafted to the QMJHL, Bryan won a President’s Cup with the Bathurst Titans in 1999 and went on to compete in the Memorial Cup. He later attended NHL development camps and played minor pro before retiring due to concussions.
As a former player and high-level coach, Bryan understands the hockey journey from every angle. He has worked within high-performance environments and is a certified agent with the PWHLPA.

Bryan currently resides in Moncton, NB with his wife Carolynn and 3 boys: Bren and twins, Theo and Shea.
